The annual Isle of Wight Randonnee returns on Sunday, April 30.

Believed to be the largest free cycling event in the UK, this year's event has already got 2,700 entrants and there is room for 300 more.

Cyclists take on two clockwise routes - 100k (62m) or 55k (34m) - passing five checkpoints.

They can start and finish at any point and the course is open from 8am to 6pm.

Last year, donations and sales raised £8,000, which was shared between four local charities.

Several schools also raised money by selling refreshments, on the route.
