There was plenty to do across the Isle of Wight during the Easter weekend, and here are just a few things that Islanders got up to in the bank holiday sun!
In Shide, Aspire held their annual duck race, which sold over 1,000 ducks, meaning the charity had to buy more!
Over £1,100 has been raised so far, and more donations coming in, with all the money raised going to support Aspire to continue their work in the Island community.
A spokesperson from Aspire said: “Our thanks to Horsler Lifts, who sponsored the event, and Red Funnel for donating another £250 travel card!”
Meanwhile, at Arreton Barns, an Easter egg hunt raised £71, which will be doubled by the attraction to £150, all in aid of The Wight Brainy Bunch.
Posting on Facebook, Arreton Barns said: “Thank you to everyone that came to our Easter egg hunt on Sunday.
“A great morning was had by all and thank you to everyone who donated to the Isle of Wight Brainy Bunch Easter Bunny on the day.”
Yarmouth held its River Yar annual duck race on Saturday, with hundreds lining the river to watch the ducks battle it out for top spot.
Restaurant On The Rocks took home the prize for the best-dressed duck at the event.
Newport Carnival hosted a sell-out Easter Party at the Riverside Centre on Good Friday.
The event also featured its royalty section, where carnival organisers announced the six all-girl team ready to steal the show across the Island later this year.
Posting on Facebook, Newport Carnival said: “To everyone who came along to our Easter Party, thank you so, so much! We had a great time."
