There are new additions at both Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill.

At Robin Hill, a 20m water pillow has been installed for guests to enjoy.

Sat in the Lower Valley, The Ripple gives the sensation of water play without getting wet.

A spokesperson for the Vectis Ventures Ltd, the company behind the attractions, said:

"Run, walk, roll, and jump on this brilliant new sensory play attraction.

"The Ripple will also be the centre of our Accessibility Sessions which runs the first Sunday of every month."

Meanwhile, at Blackgang Chine — the UK's oldest theme park — a new ride is just getting off the ground (quite literally).

Extinction — a hair-raising pendulum swing that reaches heights of 18 meters — has recently arrived.

The ride throws its passengers through full 360-degree vertical rotations, creating the sensation that you’re about to be catapulted off Blackgang’s cliffs and into the sea.

The website states: "Riders will have the chance to take in the breath-taking views across the Channel, which they can enjoy in the brief moments between screaming.

"Although, that view may be upside down."
