The Nancy Borrett School of Violin won Unison Violin Team 9 years and under, gaining an impressive 87 marks.
The examiner praised them for their ensemble playing and relaxed and confident performance.
Beth James won the Violin Class 9 years and under, playing ‘Allegro’ by Suzuki and achieving 87 marks.
The adjudicator commented on her confident and polished performance.
Edmund Matykaszek, who recently handed over Priory School to its new principal David Lloyd, won the Senior Original Composition Cup and the One Act Playwriting Cup at the Festival this year.
His winning poem ‘The Bell Tolls’, achieved an outstanding mark of 90, and the play ‘The Edge of the World’ gained a distinction of 89.
Hugh Ramsey won earned first festival success in the Violin Beginner class, with his performance of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ gaining a mark of 87.
Jazzmin Salter, who attends Fusion Arts Academy, performed eight solo songs in the Festival, winning four first-place results and four second places.
She won in the Pop/Rock, Disney Backing, Folk Accompanies and Disney Piano classes and took silver in the Musical Theatre, Folk Unaccompanied, Set Song age 10 and Song From a Show categories.
Drew Newton, taught by Linda Filby Borrett, claimed victory in both Novice Solo 10 years and under and Folk Singing Solo 10 years and under, with 87 and 88 marks, respectively.
The adjudicator said: "The tone rang out with confidence. The rhythm carried the melody and pitch was held throughout. This was lovely singing."
India Sulley, a student of Tressa Lambert, achieved first place in the German Song class and claimed second in Musical Theatre.
She also came third place in the Girls Solo 14 years and Song From a Show category.
Lucy Brown won the Solo Violin 12-13 years, playing ‘Boy Paganini’ by Edward Mollenhauer.
This was followed by a first-place finish in the Recital Class grades 5-6, winning with a distinction mark of 87.
Kenzie Madden, who attends her grandmother Hiliary Hall’s School of Dance and the Joel Morris Dance Academy, won the Tap Section 8 years, achieving 87 marks, and also placed second in Modern and Lyrical classes, as well as third in Ballet and Character.
She also came first as part of a trio with Anya Murphy and Elisa Lale and second as a duet.
Libby Stone achieved first place in her Modern Choreography class and finished second in Tap Choreography.
Ruby Rutherford collected two first-place awards for her performances in the Modern Solo age 13 and the National Solo age 13.
