FERRY passengers are experiencing delays tonight (Wednesday) due to problems with the ramp on a Wightlink ferry.
Victoria of Wight is stuck at Portsmouth, while the issue is being dealt with.
It has affected the entire route.
A statement from Wightlink is expected soon.
Update: A passenger has reported that Victoria of Wight is now on the move, and St Faith has just left Portsmouth. There are one-hour delays for passengers.
The passenger said: "We were booked on the 7pm but now we have been told we will be on the 8pm."
A Wightlink spokesperson told the County Press: "Services on Wightlink's Portsmouth to Fishbourne route are delayed by up to an hour this evening, following an earlier technical fault on the boarding ramp at Portsmouth.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused to customers' travel plans."
