Car boot sales are being planned for dates throughout 2023 on the Isle of Wight.

The popularity of car boot sales has certainly not waned in recent years and with the current cost of living crisis, the opportunity to sell unwanted goods or snap up some bargains is bound to make the sales busy this season.

If you were interested in attending one you might be curious for when the next events are scheduled across the Isle of Wight - so we've rounded them up for you.

Here are some of the places you can find a car boot sale on the Isle of Wight over Easter and throughout 2023.

Sandown

This car boot is on every Saturday, weather permitting, at Fort Street car park.

Sellers 9.30am, buyers 10.30am.

Cars £5, vans £7.

In aid of Sandown and Shanklin Lions.

Chale

Selected dates for the season, starting on Easter Monday, April 10.

Dates are April 10, April 23, May 1, May 29, June 11, June 18, July 2, July 16, August 28, September 17, and September 24.

During 2022, sellers could arrive from 7.30am, with buyers let across around 9.15am. It was £5 per car and £8 per van.

Calbourne

Starts for the season on Friday, April 14, and will be on subsequent Fridays from there on.

Sellers 4pm, buyers from 4.30pm.

Colwell Common, Totland Bay

Starts for the season on Saturday, April 22, and happening every Saturday until September 30.

Sellers 8.30am, buyers 9am - just turn up.

Cars £5, vans £7.

The car boot is run by Totland Parish Council, in support of local causes.

County Showground, Northwood.

Starts on Sunday, April 16, and will be weekly barring any other events.

£5 per vehicle of any size.

In support of Newport Carnival.

Riverside Centre Car Park, Newport

This car boot sale is being held on Easter Sunday, April 9. 

Sellers from 7.30am, buyers from 9am. Price per pitch is £5 but needs to be booked in advance by contacting Paddy McHugh on Facebook.
