AN ISLE of Wight woman accused of assaulting a local entertainer in Cowes last summer, is looking have her case thrown out.
Megan Elizabeth Brimson, of Arctic Road, Cowes, faced a charge of assaulting Chris Quinton by beating on July 19 last year, when she appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Friday (3).
Her solicitor, Michael McGoldrick, submitted an abuse of process application, on the grounds his client should have received a conditional caution for her actions.
The 27-year-old was bailed to attend a special hearing to consider the application, at the same venue, on May 9.
