What is known of Daryll Pitcher, the Isle of Wight councillor who has been found guilty of historic child rapes?
Pitcher is officially serving the second of his two terms on the Isle of Wight Council, standing for the Vectis Party, which he founded.
It was launched during Covid-19 in January 2021 stating homes for Islanders and sorting out the troubled floating bridge were among its main aims.
The first time he stood, it was under the UKIP banner — and also on the mainland, for UKIP, in a General Election.
