ISLE of Wight emergency teams have been tackling a fire in St Helens this evening (Wednesday, February 8).
Hampshire and IW Fire and Rescue Service were alerted at around 6pm to a large garden fire at a property in The Diggings, off Upper Green Road.
One engine from Ryde Fire Station was sent to the scene, where firefighters worked hard to put out the blaze.
Nearby residents have been advised to keep all windows and doors closed due to the black smoke.
