A young Isle of Wight surfer has been picked to compete in the same team as Olympic Bronze skater sensation Sky Brown.

Boe Howell from Yarmouth has been named in the Team England Junior Squad 2023, by Surfing England.

The pair feature in the girls' under 16 line-up, this week's announcement revealed.

Former Islander, Jago Tasker, has also made the cut and has been named in the boys' under 16 team.

Surfing England said: "Congratulations to everyone selected!"

Reacting to the news, on Instagram, Boe said: "Happy to be on the team :) thank u to @wightlinkferry @escapesurfboards @thefoamlife for the support."
