A burst main has left properties in the Winford and Newchurch areas without water this afternoon (Monday).

Addresses in PO30 and PO36 area are affected.
Residents say water is running down the hill at Forest Road.
Southern Water has said some properties may also be experiencing low pressure.
Engineers are on site.

UPDATE 8.45pm
Southern Water has said the burst is now fixed.
A spokesperson said: "We're pleased to report that after repairs to a burst main in Winford, customers in the PO30 and PO36 areas should see their water return this evening.
"Households may still have low pressure – this is normal and only temporary.
"You can also expect to see air and discolouration, but it is safe to use.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and distress caused."
