A CAR has crashed into a lamp post in Newport this morning (Wednesday).
Police officers have been called to the scene on Riverway, outside Dunelm.
The impact was such that the vehicle’s air bag had been set off, images show.
The car was wedged between a lamp post and an exterior wall, but is now being recovered by Bartletts Service Station.
