Isle of Wight water supplier, Southern Water, is apologising to hundreds of people in Newport who 'may be waking up with no water'.
The firm says it is due to a burst water main and up to 300 customers are affected.
A pipe is currently being laid in Medina Avenue, where repair work is continuing this morning (Thursday) and the County Press has been told problems have been caused by the recent weather.
Bottled water is available from Langton Walk, in Godric Road.
