ISLE of Wight band Wet Leg have been nominated for four BRIT Awards.
They have been nominated in four categories at The BRIT Awards 2023 - Group of the Year, Best New Artist, Mastercard Album of the Year and Best Rock/Alternative Act.
They will also be performing at the ceremony on February 11 - exposing them to a bigger mainstream audience than ever before.
This year looks set to be another big one for the band, fronted by Hester Chambers and Rhian Teasdale.
They have already been nominated for five Grammy awards and are due to go on a world tour with Harry Styles.
Of the BRIT Awards, Rhian and Hester said today: “Somebody hold our horses while we get to grips with this wild news - being nominated for a BRIT Award is too hard to comprehend.
"We never could have expected for our wee band to achieve this.”
The band's song Chaise Longue has been watched more than nine million times on YouTube (see video below).
Harry Styles and Wet Leg have emerged as the frontrunners at this year’s BRIT Awards after securing four nominations apiece.
Stormzy, The 1975, newcomer Cat Burns and dance music DJ Fred again.. all scored three nominations.
Artists including George Ezra, Arctic Monkeys, Nova Twins, Aitch and Dave claimed two.
Debut nominations went to K-pop girl group Blackpink, Eurovision star Sam Ryder, Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow and British grime and hip hop artist Kojey Radical.
