Popular Ryde greengrocers, Barrow Boys, has revealed its decision to close.
A message on its website, reads: "To all our wonderful customers, We have made a decision to close our doors.
"I have decided to retire and my sons have made a decision to go in to another line of business.
"We would like to thank everyone kindly that have shopped with us over the last 10 years."

The Barrow Boys message continued: "Thank you for your custom, support and loyalty over the years, because without you, we wouldn’t have been so successful and as popular as we have been here in Ryde."
In 2020, the High Street business was named Isle of Wight County Press Trader of the Week, for its great service and fresh local produce.

Barrow Boys has been run by the Schaverien family and was established around 20 years ago, initially inside Busy Bee Garden Centre.
It moved to Ryde High Street around a decade ago and later expanded to include the shop next door.
