A MURDER trial into the death of Scott Cooper is approaching a conclusion – with members of the jury now deliberating who killed the 33-year-old.
Piers Brazier, of George Street, Ryde, is accused of murdering Scott Edward Cooper in a property on George Street.
His body was found by police on January 4 of last year, in a shower cubicle at Mr Brazier’s address.
He had suffered multiple stab wounds, including to the face and neck.
On Tuesday, prosecutor Joanna Martin made her closing speech to the jury, and yesterday (Wednesday), Ignatius Hughes closed the defence case.

Yesterday afternoon, the jury retired to begin their deliberations.
They must now decide if Mr Brazier was responsible for the brutal murder.
A verdict is expected this week.
