A SUCCESSFUL Isle of Wight business will close after eight years, as the owner looks forward to her next adventure away from the Island.

Pure Wight Soy Candles, found on Union Street in Ryde, was created eight years and its shop has been a feature of the town for three years.

The business will close its doors in the new year as the owner moves to the mainland.

Its candles were regular stocked and available at various Island businesses, including Adgestone Vineyard, Tapnell FarmHarwoods of Yarmouth and Blue Labelle in Ventnor.

Pure Wight Soy Candles began its closing down sale today (Wednesday), with 25 per cent off everything that is not already reduced.

The owner, Jenny, said: “I’ve had eight great years with Pure Wight Soy Candles, the last three in my lovely shop.

“I’m very much ok and looking forward to my next adventure when I leave the Island next year.”

The Ryde Business Association said: “Really sad for Union Street, as the shop always looks and smells delicious, and has been a great successful business. 

“We'd like to wish Jenny all the very best for the exciting changes ahead, but we are really sad to see her go.”

Pure Wight Soy Candles thanked Ryde Business Association for all its help and guidance throughout the last three years.
