CROSS-SOLENT travel is affected by the high winds and inclement weather this morning (Wednesday).
Hovertravel services are currently suspended from Ryde to Southsea.
An update is due at 9am but in the meantime, passengers can use their tickets to travel via the Wightlink FastCat from Ryde Pier to Portsmouth.
At Red Funnel, some Red Jets have been cancelled, including the 7.50am from Cowes to Southampton, as well as some earlier sailings this morning.
Red Jet 6 is currently running at limited capacity due to a technical issue.

Update: Red Jet 8.25am from Southampton and 9am from Cowes are now cancelled due to continuous high winds.
Red Funnel say this is because Red Jet 6 is running on three engines only.
