POLICE are appealing for information following a vehicle fire in East Cowes earlier this week.
It follows reports on Tuesday, December 20, that a Mercedes Sprinter van in York Avenue had been set alight.
The vehicle was completely burnt out, police have confirmed, and the fire also caused some additional damage to a second vehicle – a Vauxhall Astra van – which was parked close by.
The incident is suspected to have occurred some time between 6pm and 6.30pm.
Police have been making enquiries in the area, including scoping for CCTV, and urge anyone who witnessed anything or has any information to get in touch.
