Popular Isle of Wight cafe and pizzeria, Gurnard Press, will close on Friday, December 30 and its owners are now searching for someone new to take the business on in the New Year.
Making an announcement on social media, the Clark family wished their customers well for 2023 and shared a link to the advert for the business and its adjoining flat.
In a message on Facebook, they said: "We would like to thank all our lovely customers, staff, and suppliers for all their past support and friendship."
Although Gurnard Press is to close, Jasper’s Coffee remains open, however.
In the HRD Commercial listing, the business is described as offering 30 covers inside and around 20 covers outside.
It continues: "The double fronted unit is light and airy, with tasteful simple modern décor, a large serving counter area with displays, coffee machine and under counter storage.
"To the rear of this is the prep kitchen and staff areas. Easily accessed across the small courtyard is a Pizza Kitchen.
"A well equipped kitchen providing the cooking area for the café as well as the pizza oven. The kitchen includes fridge, freezer, sink, oven and pizza oven with extraction."
The building also boasts a large three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, available to rent as a package with the ground floor.
Gurnard Press's owners said: "We wish everyone a happy Christmas and best wishes for 2023. The Clark Family."
