Despite being in crippling pain, a Shanklin 'supermum' brings a smile to people of the town at Christmas.
Candy Nash suffers from the chronic pain condition fibromyalgia but it doesn't stop her lighting up her house in Garfield Road and handing out sweets and presents to children from the area every Christmas and new year.
Her son, Kye, contacted the Isle of Wight County Press to tell us about his brave mum.
He said she dresses up as Christmas characters such as Mrs Claus, an elf, a Hoo and even The Grinch.
Kye said: "She never asks for donations but hands outs treats for the children. She always says Christmas is putting a smile on a child's face.
"My mum suffers in constant pain and some days make her bed bound.

"Even though she is in so much pain she will sit outside in the cold waiting to greet and hand out the treats for the children.
"There have been times that my dad has had to carry her in because her legs stopped working because of the agonising pain.
"You will never know though as she will smile though it and put others first.
"I just want to let people see her hand-made hard work and appreciate her like we do. She deserves it."
