A MAN will appear before a judge next month, accused of attempted robbery at the Isle of Wight hospital.
Nerijus Suminskas, of no fixed abode, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates this morning (Thursday).
The 46-year-old is charged with attempted robbery in Newport, on December 7 of this year (Wednesday).
At approximately 8.06am, police were called to the scene at St Mary's Hospital.

They were responding to reports that a man had grabbed a woman in her 60s and tried to take her handbag in the North Car Park.
Mr Suminskas — described by Ann Smout, prosecuting, as a Lithuania national with no ties to this country — is accused of trying to grab a 62-year-old woman's hospital pass and purse.
He was remanded in custody, and his case was adjourned to January 6 at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
