Isle of Wight MP slams Harry and Meghan in Talk TV appearance

It was in response to the release of a trailer for their Netflix documentary series.

According to the Mailonline website today (Friday), Mr Seely used an appearance on Talk TV to suggest Prince Harry be referred to as Mr Windsor, if he chose not to support monarchy.

Yesterday (Thursday), Netflix dropped its first official teaser for Harry & Meghan.

The behind-the-scenes show is 'coming soon' in what Netflix calls a global event.

The one-minute trailer, which includes private photographs of the couple, was released on the second day of the Prince and Princess of Wales’s high-profile trip to the USA.

Mr Seely is quoted by the Mail as saying: "If I had time, I'd be bringing in a private members' bill to say if you want to hate monarchy you're Mr Windsor - jog on, grow up."

The Isle of Wight County Press has contacted Mr Seely for comment on his reported remarks.
