Donations continue to pour in for the County Press and Island charities' Wight Warmers Knit-in challenge. We're aiming to keep people on the Isle of Wight warm this winter.

You've been bringing in some beautiful blankets and incredible creations, including to Hose Rhodes Dickson's offices, among our official drop-off points.

Hannah Stoppard and Louise O'Rourke, both residential sales negotiators and Janet Morter, commercial sales and lettings negotiator (above, l to r), are keeping them safe until we pick them up and pass them on to a network of charities.

Scroll down to meet Ventnor's Better Days Café team!

What is the Wight Warmers Knit-in?

  • Grab your knitting needles, crochet hooks and sewing kits, and craft blankets, hats and scarves
  • Choose any design - to suit your skills!

Knitters and crafters are making scarves, blankets and hats for Islanders facing rising energy costs this winter.

You can join them, by grabbing your knitting needles, crochet hooks and sewing kits, and crafting blankets, hats and scarves.

We have drop-off points across the Isle of Wight.

We are aiming to gather 200 items in time for Christmas.

Through Island charities and organisations, including Aspire Ryde, Better Days Café, food pantries and the West Wight Sports and Community Centre, we will distribute your clever creations to people in need.
