Newport-based Lighthouse Clinic’s team was a winner at the second national dermatology awards where they were up against health professionals from across the country.
The initiative triumphed in the Dermatology Team of the Year category at the 2022 Quality in Care (QiC) Dermatology Awards that were held virtually earlier this month.
Glenn Smith, clinical director, said: “These awards are testament to how hard our team have worked over the last two years to minimise disruption during Covid and continue to provide innovative, effective and caring services for our local population.
"None of this would have been possible without our great working relationships with the local community, GP surgeries, our commissioning team and the IW NHS Trust. We are looking forward to building on the success of these awards with further innovation and engagement with our local community in the months and years to come.”
