FEARS of Islanders amid the cost of living crisis have been laid bare by a campaign group.
An interactive map has been publishing to share stories from people right across the UK on the challenges they face due to the cost of living crisis.
The map, created by campaign group 38 Degrees, has compiled hundreds of stories of people suffering from rising food, energy and housing costs.
Three Islanders feature on the map
Alison Errington, 61, is one of those featured.
She said: "I'm disabled, living alone on the Isle of Wight. I've already got mental health and physical issues, it's exacerbating both, the fear."
Cecilia Bolger, 50, is described as a "normal working girl living alone".
She said: "I'm very worried that I will have to sell my house as I won't be able to afford the bills."
Mandie Boswell, 60, is recently retired with a small pension.
She said: "I was struggling to pay any large bills even before the astronomical fuel increases.
"Now that grocery shopping is increasing week by week as well, it will mean that we cannot put the heating on as much in the coming winter and will have to really penny-pinch."
On the map, every pin represents a real person. They are the stories behind the stats, the names behind the numbers.
