Southern Water will lift its hosepipe ban tomorrow (Friday).
Earlier, the news was shared by the leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Sean Woodward.
A drought risk remains, as river and reservoir levels remain lower than normal in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight.
However, customers in the two counties will no longer have to restrict water use outside their homes from November 4, the post says.
A ‘temporary use ban’ has been in place since the first week of August.
An official statement is expected tomorrow and we have asked Southern Water for a statement.
