Storm Claudio has been causing problems on the Isle of Wight, overnight and this morning (Tuesday), including halting Solent crossings and bringing down and wall and trees.

A gust topped 110mph, according to the Needles Coastwatch group.

Hovertravel services are suspended. An update is due at 10am.

Meanwhile, trees on the tracks stopped Island Line trains from running for a time, however the service has now resumed.
