The countdown's on to Fan TC Con, at Cowes Yacht Haven on Saturday, November 5.

Casualty and Game of Thrones' Clive Mantle is among the stars booked to appear. 

In partnership with Wessex Cancer Trust, the event describes itself as a place for geeks and nerds to enjoy and embrace their passion together.

There will also be trade stands, cosplay competitions, and board and VR gaming.

Clive Mantle is a much-loved British actor, a star on both stage and screen for over 40 years, perhaps best known for playing Little John in Robin of Sherwood, Lord Jon Umber in Game of Thrones, Simon Horton in The Vicar of Dibley and Mike Barratt in Casualty.

His voice is also well known for his work on over 180 audiobooks and voicing animated characters, including Gator in Thomas the Tank Engine. 

Carla Mendonça stars in film, television, stage and radio productions and is well known for playing the mother alien Sophie Johnson in ITV’s My Parents Are Aliens, Mrs Cholmondley-Warner in Harry Enfield And Chums, Clare Phillips in My Dad’s The Prime Minister and Orla Crawshaw in Coronation Street.

Michael Jayston is Raquel's dad in Only Fools and Horses and Dr Who's The Valeyard.

Joseph Millson is a British actor known for roles including Maria’s dad in The Sarah Jane Adventures, Aelfric in The Last Kingdom, Luc Hemingway in Holby City, Carter in Casino Royale and recently in Marvel’s Moon Knight series.

Simon Fisher-Becker, who played Dorium Maldovar in Doctor Who and The Fat Friar in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, has also been announced as a guest.
