The Isle of Wight Story Festival, which will take place over February half term, is launching an inspirational extra day of activities, aimed at young people aged 12 and over.
Thursday at the IW Story Festival will take place on February 16, 2023.
Expect creative sessions and author talks, say organisers.
Among those hosting sessions will be headliner Julia Tuffs, author of Hexed (a story about a girl who moves to the Isle of Wight and discovers she is a witch).
Creaturama, featuring the works of Anthony James, will be running a monster making workshop. You may know him from appearances on tv's Blue Peter and Junk Rescue, as well as his work on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Isle of Wight musician JC Grimshaw will run a song writing event and there will be poetry from Adam Gaterell.
Comic author and artist, Russell Sheath, will also be on hand.

On this latest announcement, Isle of Wight Story Festival organiser Elspeth Giddens said: "We’ve run a really successful festival for primary aged children for three years, but we haven’t really had anything for the over-12s.
"Thursday at the IW Story Festival is just for them.
"We’ve come up with a really exciting, diverse programme, which covers everything from song writing to cartoons. It’s going to be a lot of fun!"
