A MAN savagely attacked by a dog has been using cannabis to manage the pain ever since, a court was told.
Lachen Downs, 24, of Tennyson Road, Cowes, admitted possession of cannabis at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Liz Miller, prosecuting, said a small amount of cannabis was found by police at Downs' home address, on his bedside table, when they were questioning him on other matters on October 7.
Jim Osborne, for Downs, said it was used for medical reasons after being attacked by a dog in 2020 - and was used to control pain.
