ISLE of Wight police "rounded up outstanding suspects" and dealt with a series of incidents today (Thursday).
After spotting false licence plates this evening, a 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving without a valid licence or insurance, and three counts of possessing a bladed article.
It comes after officers carried out a proactive stop.
The vehicle was seized and collected by Stag Lane Motors.
Other incidents police say they dealt with today include GBH, a sexual offence, a breach of an order and malicious communications.
"Are you wanted by the police?" said Sgt Radford for the force.
"It won’t be long until we will be knocking on your door — or not knocking and obliterating it.
"If you don’t want this to happen, give us a call or pop in to the police station."
