A cleaner seas protest is being held at Gurnard tomorrow (Saturday).
Ethical clothing company Rapanui are supporting the event, which will be at the beach huts on the green at 10am.

"Recently there have been demonstrations held in Whitstable in Kent where an estimated 2,000 protesters turned the beach into a crime scene and tomorrow, at Gurnard Bay, there will be a gathering of sea lovers, activists and families acting to challenge Southern Water and the MP in order to do more.
"We are delighted to share the event with the support of Rapanui who are committed to helping communities from an ecological perspective."
Isle of Wight MP Bob Seely said: "Protecting our beaches and waterways is vitally important, especially on the Isle of Wight. The Environment Act, passed last year, is a ground-breaking law which will do more than any other law passed in the past 50 years to clean up our environment.
"On the Island, we persuaded Southern Water’s to introduce its most ambitious in the country, which will enable it to make major strides to clean-up our rivers and beaches in the coming years.”
