CHRISTMAS is coming early at an Isle of Wight takeaway sandwich bar, with the announcement that its famous Christmas baguette will return soon.
Mr T’s Snacks, on St James’ Street in Newport, posted on its Facebook page that if its post received 50 likes by the end of the day, the Christmas baguette would be available this month.
In less than 20 minutes, the post had smashed the like target.
Founded in 1992, Mr T’s is available for takeaway, click and collect and delivery in the Newport area on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays via its mobile app.
Its Christmas baguette includes turkey, stuffing, chipolata sausage, cranberry sauce and gravy.
Posting on Facebook, the sandwich bar said: “It's official! Our famous Christmas baguette will be available from Monday, October 17.
“We can’t thank you enough for your continued support!”
The post also told customers to keep their eyes peeled on the Facebook page for a chance to win a Christmas baguette.
