A TRADITIONAL legal service to mark the beginning of the Law Year will be held at Newport Minster later today (Monday).
A procession is due to leave the Isle of Wight Law Courts at 10.22am.
It will proceed up Quay Street, across the High Street and into the minster.
Last year, it was led by court official Julie Ford.
Among those in attendance was Isle of Wight Lord Lieutenant, Susie Sheldon, and the then Isle of Wight High Sheriff James Attrill.
