ISLE of Wight County Press understands that Island Harbour Marina may be facing a move into administration today (Thursday, September 15).
Situated on the River Medina, two miles south of Cowes, the site which includes a bar/restaurant, yacht berths, the abandoned paddle steamer Ryde Queen and homes, describing itself as one of the Solent’s best-kept secrets.
An email has been shared with the County Press to say that a meeting with marina staff is imminent.
Harbour users have been warned there is likely to be some disruption to the lock.
The County Press has made attempts to contact the owners for comment.

The Breeze restaurant on site says it is a separate company and unaffected.
