TWO young boys were removed from a derelict Sandown hotel yesterday (Sunday), police have confirmed.
It follows a number of reports of youths inside the abandoned Ocean Hotel, behaving in an anti-social manner.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said police attended and removed two boys, aged 13 and 14, from the premises and took them back to their home addresses.
The 14-year-old boy was dealt with by means of a community resolution for committing a public order offence, with a requirement to work with the Youth Offending Team.

The 13-year-old boy will be interviewed further by police in due course.
One video, shared on social media yesterday evening, showed windows being smashed with rocks at the hotel.
As a large crowd gathered to watch, passers-by called police.
Shattered window glass was filmed falling from the top floor to the car park below, but after more than an hour, police officers had not responded.
"Work remains ongoing, under Operation Spider, in partnership with the local authority, to find a long term solution to the issues at this premises, and the associated anti-social behaviour and criminality," said a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary.
"This has involved serving a Community Protection Notice on the hotel owners with conditions to properly secure the site and prevent trespass.
"We thank the public for their patience while this work is carried out, and continue to encourage members of the public to report any concerns of ASB or criminality in this area to the police."
