There was even the opportunity to take a vintage bus ride to the nearby Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum.

Event organiser Vic Gallucci was presented with an award by Ryde Town Council for bringing the show to the Isle of Wight for the past 21 years.

Vic said he could not put on the show without the help of many sponsors and supporters, including Wightlink, the Isle of Wight Council, Ryde Town Council, the County Press, Gallagher Insurance Services, Corralls, Island Roads and countless other local businesses.

Nigel Hartley, chief executive at Mountbatten, wrote to Vic after the show to thank him personally for his ongoing support of the charity.

The dates for next year's extravaganza have been set for the weekend of September 9 and 10.
