THE Tour of Britain's Isle of Wight finale has been cancelled following the death of Her Majesty the Queen.
The event was due to come to the Island on Sunday and finish in spectacular style on Tennyson Down.
The much anticipated cycling event — years in the planning — was set to cover a 150km route from Ryde.
Tonight, organisers confirmed the final stages have now been cancelled and offer their condolences to the Royal Family.
The death of Her Majesty the Queen was announced at 6.30pm today (Thursday).
