Parts of Wroxall (in the PO38 area) were hit with a power cut at around 9.30pm, on Monday night.

In its latest update, supplier, Southern Electric, says it hopes to restore supplies by 4pm this evening.

More stormy weather is forecast today, although there are currently no weather warnings in place.

The Island has also so far escaped flood alerts, despite a deluge of rain.
