Combine Harvester, I am a Cider Drinker and Drink Up Thy Zider are the hits that made The Wurzels an unlikely sensation in the 1970s.
Jack Up Events are bringing the Scrumpy and Western band to their farm site in Ryde for an evening of not-to-be-missed entertainment.
Taking place tomorrow (Saturday) at the all-new Retro Staycations American Airstream glamping site, expect a special extended set with all the hits, stories and jokes from a career spanning more than 52 years.
As one of the UK's most enduring folk bands, The Wurzels formed in the 1960s.
They've enjoyed plenty of chart success over the years, with their comedic folk hits.
Their lyrics are often packed full of double entendre, remaining true to their West Country wit and style.
The Wurzels continue to play over 100 shows a year to sell-out crowds all over the country, with regular festival appearances at Bestival, Guilfest, Finsbury Park and Glastonbury.
Event organiser Sarah Moss said; “Everyone loves The Wurzels and they seemed the obvious choice to invite to our picturesque farm site in Ryde.
"Effortlessly combining music, good humour and fun, these veteran ‘Zider’ drinkers still know how to party!”
Support will be provided by The Redcatz Rock ‘n’ Roll trio.
Situated in a pretty meadow on a small working farm, overlooking the scenic views of nearby Brading Downs, this will be an open-air concert.
With hay bales, a real ale bar and freshly cooked barbecue, it’s the ideal way to round off the Island’s summer season.
Free parking is available on-site plus pick-up/drop-off area. Gates open at 5.30pm with The Wurzels appearing at 8pm.
The event is unseated so attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
Posh toilet facilities are included in the ticket price.
