Strictly Come Dancing host, Tess Daly, has taken time out from preparing for the new series of the popular BBC show to take a trip across the Solent, to the Isle of Wight.

She posted photos of her visit on Instagram.

The presenter said she was, "Isle of Wight wandering with my girls."

Sharing her visit in a story and a post, her snaps include a stunning view of Sandown Bay, taken from the Luccombe area of the Island.

Meanwhile, a host of names have already been announced for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, including former Blue Peter presenter, Countryfile's Helen Skelton, Eastenders' James 'Martin Fowler' Bye, Bros star Matt Goss, actor Will Mellor and Paralympic gold medallist Ellie Simmonds.

A start date has yet to be confirmed, but the new series of Strictly Come Dancing is expected to hit the dance floor next month (September).
