Blackgang Chine is open today following an evacuation yesterday when a ride failed.
Blackgang Chine has opened its gates to the public today (Tuesday), following an incident at the park yesterday.
Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries when the new Shipwrecked ride broke down, a spokesperson from the Isle of Wight NHS Trust confirmed this morning.
People had to be helped off the ride and the entire park was evacuated.
An investigation is now underway, park owners Vectis Ventures confirmed.
The park opened at 10am this morning, although the Shipwrecked ride will remain closed pending the outcome of the investigation.
