Ryde's firefighters will try to get right round the Isle of Wight by walking, running and swimming, from Friday (July 22).
Green Watch are raising cash for their brain tumour charity, The Wight Brainy Bunch.
Starting at Hovertravel, at 5am, they will go anti-clockwise direction around the Island, passing the Needles on the first day, St Catherine’s Point on day two and Culver Cliffs on day three.

Travelling around 20 miles per day and contending with sand, shingle, stones, rocks, mud and clay, plus water, of course, their efforts will be tacked via Facebook.
It is the idea of watch manager Chas Wright, who is due to retire next year.
The Wight Brainy Bunch was set up by Green Watch firefighter Mark Grimes and his wife, Kathryn, when Mark was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2015. He had a second surgery in 2019, but he will be part of the crew taking on this mammoth challenge.
The team are trying to beat the efforts of Newport Fire Station's green watch, who did the same journey 16 years ago.
