A 15-year-old boy from Cowes on the Isle of Wight is due in court today (Monday), charged with terrorism offences.
He was arrested by officers from Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE), with assistance from Hampshire Constabulary, on Monday, July 11.
Charged yesterday (Sunday), on suspicion of the preparation of terrorist acts, under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006, he was remanded in custody.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
