A NEWPORT man stole ten bottles of whiskey from a supermarket.
Ian David Lunn, of Clarence Road, went into Sainsbury's in Chippenham, Wiltshire, on November 10, 2021, where he stole the alcohol, which was worth £265.
He appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court for sentencing on Monday.
The 40-year-old, previously of Filton Avenue, Horfield, Bristol, had previously admitted the theft at an earlier appearance in court in April.
He was made subject of a 12-month community order to include 20 rehabilitation days.
He must also pay court costs of £85.
