AN ENERGETIC set full of their biggest hits was performed by the mighty Kasabian at the Isle of Wight Festival yesterday (Saturday).
Fans loved Fire, You're in Love With a Psycho, Shoot The Runner, Club Foot and Stevie.
The set didn't start well, due to technical difficulties, and lead singer Serge was heard asking for it to be sorted out.
The band re-started and played a full set - but it was sadly marred with sound problems throughout.
Earlier, Blossoms had to cut their set short due to high winds on safety grounds however, so there was some relief Kasabian had made it on stage at all.
Credit to the band, they were awesome troupers and their high energy and fantasic set list made for a great show.
"Serge" (Sergio Pizzorno) is now the frontman after the departure of Tom Meighan, and he was born for the role.
The dance-rockers lit up Seaclose Park and set the scene brilliantly for Pete Tong's Ibiza Classics which followed.
Football legend Peter Crouch, an Isle of Wight Festival regular with wife Abbey Clancy, appeared on stage for the final song, Fire, to great cheers from the crowd.
