The Isle of Wight Festival 2022 is just over a week away now, with big names like Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan and Kasabian set to perform over the four days from June 16-19.

If you are counting the days but are still trying to work out how to get to the Isle of Wight, we have the answers for you. 

You will have to take a ferry, as there are no links by road. Don't worry though. There are plenty to choose from!

Isle of Wight ferry operators Wightlink, Red Funnel and Hovertravel run crossings from the south coast.

What are the Red Funnel timetables for the Isle of Wight Festival 2022?

Red Funnel run from Southampton to either Cowes or East Cowes.

There is a foot passenger-only crossing to Cowes, which takes about 40 minutes.

If you are in a car, or if you prefer a more leisurely route, opt for the vehicle ferry route to East Cowes.

What are the Wightlink timetables for the Isle of Wight Festival 2022?

The Isle of Wight Festival website says that Wightlink offers two services for people travelling on foot the ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth and the Catamaran from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde.

Crossing takes between 22-30 mins from Portsmouth to Ryde and around 40 minutes from Lymington to Yarmouth.

It is recommended for foot passengers to book ahead for their sailings, so to do that and view the timetables visit their website HERE.

What are the Hovertravel timetables for the Isle of Wight Festival 2022?

The Isle of Wight Festival website says that Hovertravel operates a hovercraft service from Southsea to Ryde taking only 10 minutes to cross the Solent.

What are the bus routes to the Isle of Wight Festival 2022?

Shuttle buses are being operated to and from most ferry ports direct into the festival bus station.

These include:

• Yarmouth, for Wightlink from Lymington

• West Cowes, for high-speed Red Jet from Southampton

• East Cowes, for vehicle ferry Red Funnel from Southampton

• Ryde Esplanade, for Wightlink from Portsmouth and Hovertravel from Southsea

The Isle of Wight Festival website says that ferry port shuttle buses will operate from around 8am through until 4am Thursday to Monday, with the last buses being at midday on Monday.
