Jubilee Beacons have been lit across the Isle of Wight tonight (Thursday), to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Bembridge's Beacon, on Culver Down, was given special dispensation to be lit early, but all the others were lit at 9.45pm.
Some marked the event with pipers and a proclamation.
In East Cowes, music preceded the official lighting. The Doors' Light My Fire was performed by Dave and Laura Priddle.
