A man has been stabbed in Ryde.
A MAN has suffered a knife wound to his back after a suspected assault in Ryde.
He has been taken to hospital for treatment, after the incident which happened this afternoon, at around 3.30pm.
The incident happened in Oakfield.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 3.31pm with reports of an assault in Oak Vale, Oakfield.
"A man in his 20s had suffered a puncture wound to his back which is not life-threatening.
"Police are currently making enquiries in the area."
